Just a friendly reminder for all those reading this blog in the Barrie and Orillia area, and those up for a day trip, that the Barrie Brews & BBQ Festival is taking place this weekend at Centennial Beach. Live entertainment, rib cook off, tons of bbq'd meat and cold beer.
Robert Simpson, Barrie's local brewery situated in a lovely building on the waterfront, will be joined by Toronto's Great Lakes brewery to provide customers some well crafted lagers and ales.
Free admission to the event.
