Wild Rose Seasonal Imperial IPA

In a recent conversation with Tina Wolfe, the Marketing Manager at Calgary's Wild Rose brewery, she informed me that a new seasonal was being developed with plans to have it released in January. I had just finished drinking my first ever Cherry Porter from Wild Rose (which was reviewing by Greg Clow and Stephen Beaumont in the newest issue of TAPS - Dec 15 release), their current seasonal, and found it to be very well done with a load of flavour.

Back to the new seasonal. Wolfe explained that they the new Imperial IPA was brewed at the end of November and the launch is planned for January 16/09. The beer will be available on-tap at the Wild Rose Brewery & Taproom and for sale in 500ml flip top bottles.

Wolfe also mentioned the Wild Rose plans to release new seasonals every few months in 2009. Exciting news from a very good craft brewery.

Make sure you keep an eye out for this shortly.
