Grand River Brewing Co. is all set to hold their inaugral tasting tomorrow night, as they are hosting a group of 25 individuals to sample some select Winter Warmers.Starting at 7pm, brewmaster Rob Creighton will crack open two Canadian produced winter beers to be followed up by two Americans and one from England. He will discuss the history of the breweries, the beer, point out the different flavours and characteristics behind each beer and talk a bit about the winter warmer segment. "It is shaping up to be a fun night sampling beer, talking about the beer and learning about the style," stated Creighton this morning.
The tasting is filling up quickly, but there is still room for more interested participants. To attend, you'll have to contact Jane at jsouthgate@grandriverbrewing.com or by placing a call to the brewery at 519.620.3233. There will be a $15 admission fee that will cover the cost of the beer and will also include a brewery tour and bar snacks that will help cleanse the palate in between samples. It should also be pointed out that there will be no charge for designated drivers.
