Great Lakes Brewery have launched their annual Hops of Hunger initiative at their Etobicoke brewery. The annual program is in support of the Daily Bread Food Bank and will be running until December 24th (it started on December 1st).Here's how it works - Anytime a customer purchases beer from the brewery's retail store, Great Lakes will donate the corresponding poundage of food to the food bank. Last year Great Lakes surpassed their goal of 2000lbs and are aiming for 3000lbs this year.
The brewery is open Monday to Saturday from 10am - 6pm and is located at 30 Queen Elizabeth Blvd in Etobicoke.
