The 3rd annual Brewers Plate is set to take place on Wednesday May 26th at the University of Toronto in their historic Hart House.
I have been fortunate enough to attend the first two Brewers Plates and I can say, without hesitation, that it is a real treat to be in attendance. The food is great (see list of chefs below), the beer is great and paired wonderfully with the food creations, and the music has always been terrific.
Chefs involved: Jamie Kennedy (Jamie Kennedy Kitchens), Brad Long (Veritas, My Place), Mark Cutrara (Cowbell), Marc Breton (Gladstone), Karen Vaz (Rebel House), and Brook Kavanagh (La Palette), Michael Steh (Red’s), and others from Oyster Boy, Magic Oven and BuddhaDog.
Ontario Breweries: Black Oak, Wellington, Steam Whistle, Mill Street, Great Lakes, Cameron’s, NickelBrook, Flying Monkeys, Beau’s and Heritage Brewing and more!
David Crombie, a former Mayor of Toronto, will be headlining the special evening of taste revelations in a stunning historic venue with live jazz music.
